Tyrer's Mill occupies a prominent position in the quaint conservation area of Prescot. Styled sympathetically to a heritage specification including large timber sash windows and detailed stone work, the building is expected to become a local landmark.  

Prescot is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance at present. With the already thriving Cables Retail Park undergoing massive expansion, coupled with the huge developments at Whiston hospital (both a short drive away), the area is set for total regeneration.
