Location

Ellesmere Port, situated in the North West of Cheshire, is a place of contrasts, with top tourist attractions and beautiful countryside and parks.

Attractions include the award winning Blue Planet Aquarium, the UK’s largest aquarium.
The world’s largest collection of canal boats can be found at the Ellesmere Port Boat Museum.

As the site is located in the heart of the town centre, one is able to sample the bustling nightlife on offer, with its wide variety of pubs, bars and quality restaurants. A short distance away one can find the purpose built Coliseum Entertainment Park, which offers a fabulous array of entertainment facilities, from a multiplex cinema, bowling and nightclubs, to a wide variety of restaurants.


For more gentile entertainment, the site enjoys easy access to a wide variety of parks and country parks, notably Rivacre Valley Country Park, Stanney Woods and Whitby Park. For the sporting types the area is well served with leisure centres, and Ellesmere Port Golf Course is within easy access. The site location truly has something for everybody.

When it comes to shopping, Cambridge Court has the benefit of outstanding shopping at its doorstep. Ellesmere Port has a thriving town centre with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. One can find a wide variety of both high street stores and exclusive local ones. At Cheshire Oaks one can find the McArthurglen Designer Outlet, which is one of Europe’s largest fashion outlets and a major tourist attraction in its own right. The nearby Coliseum Retail Park provides further high quality shopping with an excellent choice of high street and designer stores.

The site enjoys excellent transport links, being sited just off a major arterial route. The site is superbly located for the motorway network, with junction 9 of the M53 only a quarter of a mile away and thus access to the Wirral, Liverpool and Chester is readily available for those who commute. Public transport services are excellent, as one would expect for a town centre location. Many bus services serve the site and the main Ellesmere Port Railway Station is around 250 yards away.
